Brothers Humboldt

Alexander von Humboldt traveled the world as a researcher and, with his countless writings, became one of the most important natural scientists of his time. Inspired by his detailed descriptions, elementary school children in Berlin created this exclusive design with the creative agency Salapanga as part of a cultural project for creative examination of current research.

The motifs were designed by Berlin school classes and the creative agency Salapanga as part of a cultural project to engage creatively with current research.

The natural scientist Alexander von Humboldt collected countless flower seeds on his expeditions, dried them and studied them carefully. Carry them out into the world again to make the garden or the city a little more colourful. Simply distribute the small balls at a desired location. With plenty of water and sun, beautiful wildflowers bloom after a while.

The 15 seed balls are packed in a decorative, sustainably produced cardboard box, which was designed by a Berlin primary school class together with the creative agency Salapanga as part of a cultural project for creative examination of current research.
