Notebook - Palace of the Republic

The former seat of the GDR parliament was also a popular cultural center and well-known far beyond the borders of Berlin. After the Berlin Palace was blown up in 1950, the Palace of the Republic was built between 1973 and 1976. Even today, many people like to remember this architecturally interesting building and its wide range of tourism and leisure activities.
